Manus Island or the Admiralty Island lies in the Bismarch Sea north of PNG mainland.Separated from most of PNG by sea Manus Province comprises of 12 local government. Manus population is 43,387. Inland villagers have to walk to the coast to travel by boat.
Manus flag potraits one of the noisiest bird on the island known as Chauka. Green snail is unique and is also found in the province.
People wear tatoos of eagle's feet,horizon and the circular sunrise on their forehead.
